Red Bull and more ramblings

I took several pics of the buffalo while in Yellowstone this past summer...possibly I got far too close but wanted that "perfect" picture...and then I dumped them into Adobe and played with the color (hue and saturation) and love my "red bull" that came from that fun....this will show up somewhere in the near future...thinking of an overall abstract type of piece with images here and there to move your eye around the surface...the world just doesn't have enough red bulls to look at and enjoy. Maybe I should go pink or purple...can be done. I just love my software.
As part of my birthday week celebration, we took in "Michael Clayton" yesterday at the movies...George Clooney is just so yummmmmmy!!! Today we're out again to see "What I Lost in the Fire" with Halley Barry...looking forward to that film also. I've got three new books to read on my table, Fiberarts Magazine to read over and over, Surface Design arrived yesterday...what more could a gal want??? Right.......my aunt/uncle sent me some cash for my birthday and my hubby asked me what I was going to spend my cash on...I looked at him and said "what do you think"...oh, he said..you mean you're heading to the fabric store??? What else I replied...what else.....? He just doesn't understand and never will. Too bad for him.

Louise,
I keep looking at that red bull and I'm reminded of a photo someone brought to my last quilt group meeting. She had taken an altered photo and had it printed on canvas at her local print store and it was really a work of are. The canvas made it look painted. She extended color out around the edge of it and mounted it on a frame with about a 2 inch edge and it was fantastic.
