Catch Up

One of my latest new pieces "Sunshine Girl"....isn't she just the cutest....actually a photo of my friends Mom who was in a dance company in LA with Shirley Temple and this was one of her costumes...I made up a piece for her using this and some other images and she gave me permission to use as I like...so I've created this piece for the gallery. 

Been sort of out of sight for a bit...hubby was in hospital again...now he's home and we're getting back into our routine and I need to catch up on my sewing for sure.  I finished a commission pieces last week and I have two I'm working on this week..hoping to finish tomorrow so I can get them off and out of the studio.  Then I have to finish the six small purses I'm creating for the gallery for the holiday display.  And now that I'm going to the be next years president for the gallery, I need to make some time to get my info together, sort out my plans on what I'd like to do for the gallery and march forward with my team to make some money this next year.  Going to be a hard task, but I'm sure we can make it happen!!!

Filling my art jounal with ideas for a new series...haven't found the right one yet, but something will grab hold, I'm sure.  I have plenty of other stuff I can do until that happens...not worth beating myself up over something I can't seem to control.  L
