"Camp Cook"....finished this commission last week and sent it off to it's owner in Mesa, Arizona...lovely photo of her Mom doing camp chores back in the 40's....and I added a little twinkle above her to give her that look of being quite the angel.
And just finished and delivered two of the above....the original photo was taken back in the 60's at Santa Cruz Beach...they placed their heads in the painted board with the bodies already painted on the background....so I tried to replicate as closely as possible to the original photos, as that is what she wanted and they turned out great. The gals are sister in laws and still remain very close today.
So two commission this month, finished and paid for ...I'm on the way to the bank this morning before going to my grand daughters soccer game.
Finished five new holiday glitz purses for the gallery; plan to deliver today/tomorrow timeframe along with hanging two new pieces, maybe three.....trying to keep my display fresh and new as much as possible.
