I am certainly in an organized mood this past week...lots of new things flying at me with being the new Prez of the gallery and I seem to be re-organizing my life a bit so this can fit without much pain....and not freak Lynn out too much as he gets a little nuts when I'm not where I'm supposed to be...here!!!! (according to Lynn)....today I recorganized my kitchen drawer and re-lined them again, tossed out a bunch of large knifes...didn't really chuk them into the trash, but put them in a cardboard box and I'm going to figure out what to do so with....then I got into our cloths closet and three large green bags later, emptied both my and Lynn's side down to barely nothing....oh there clothes there, but dang, I just don't wear much except slacks and a top so I have enough of those...have a couple of skirts and nice tops for weddings, funerals, parties...but what do I need a bunch of clothes for...if I need something, I"ll go purchase it then..why house it for years. Lynn got rid of nine pairs of jeans, leather coat, etc...he's the same way...never goes anywhere either, so we're downsizing, but not moving. Next is my hall closet which is fairly lean..sheets/towels and my stock of stuff, like toothpaste, etc.
Working as the new Prez has got me busy a minimum of an hour or more a day...calls, emails, printer, security, schedules, meetings, finding money...my list is growing...I have to really watch how much time I give to this group as I could go overboard and not have time to do my own work and/or take care of my CFA group and my husband. So far, I've been able to juggle...priorities a must.
